WIN: Catch latest action-packed spy thriller at Nu Metro

It’s the spectacular movie event we’ve all been waiting for! And, it was definitely worth the wait. It’s time to tell her story. Black Widow launches the new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with true superhero power at all Nu Metro cinemas in KZN from Friday, August 13. 

Nu Metro celebrates the inspiring power of strong female characters who defy stereotypes with the magic of the movies this Women’s Month. 

Academy award-winner Jennifer Hudson arrives in select cinemas this weekend to recreate the legendary life of the musical icon and all-time reigning Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, in Respect. 

Take the kids for the special pre-release screenings of PAW Patrol: The Movie on Saturday. The wildly popular crew of pups is unleashed in all cinemas for their first big screen movie adventure.

Black Widow (13LV)

This year’s most highly anticipated new superhero blockbuster, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, stars Scarlett Johansson and tells the story of how she became the Avenger we all know and love. At birth, the Black Widow (a.k.a. Natasha Romanova) is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to New York, 15 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, where she’s a freelance operative. This is her story – in spectacular 3D. 

See It First – PAW Patrol: The Movie (All Ages)

Based on the popular animated series, join the PAW Patrol in their thrilling first Big Screen adventure. When their biggest rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc, Ryder and everyone’s favourite heroic pups kick into high gear to face the challenge head-on! Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW Patrol fights to save the citizens of Adventure City.

Respect is the remarkable true story of music icon Aretha Franklinʼs (Jennifer Hudson) journey to find her voice. It begins when she’s a child, singing in her father’s church’s choir, and grows up to become an international superstar. This inspirational musical drama documents her dreams, her talent and her journey to become the legend popularly known as the Queen of Soul.
