Pavilion plans for partial opening tomorrow

Seven stores in The Pavilion Shopping Centre will be open tomorrow.

AFTER four days of closure, The Pavilion Shopping Centre will have a partial re-opening on July 17 from 09:00 to 15:00.

According to the centre’s management, its security team is working closely with Metro Police, the South African National Defence Force as well as local community groups to heighten its security for the opening.

The stores that will be open are Baby City, Checkers, Clicks, Dis-Chem, Game, Pick n Pay and Woolworths.

Only entrances 1, 2 and 3 will be accessible and, in its best attempts to accommodate the numbers of shoppers to the mall under the level 4 restrictions, customers will be permitted to purchase limited items. These will be store dependent.

Parking will be provided for at parkade D and E as well as at the open Checkers parking lot.

“We request that shoppers exercise patience, tolerance and compassion to one another,” said management in a statement.

All Covid-19 protocols must be adhered to.
