Help Durban family find missing elderly man
Roddan was placed in the shelter on June 20 and was last seen on June 22. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue cap and had a back pack in his possession.
A Durban family is appealing for information on the whereabouts of 74-year-old Desmond Roddan.
Kelly Robberts, who looks after one of Roddan’s sons, confirmed that he is still missing.

According to Kelly, Roddan was living in Bellair before he was taken to the Pay Less shelter in Esplanade, near Point Road, in Durban.
He was placed in the shelter on June 20 and was last seen on June 22.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue cap and had a back pack in his possession.
“Desmond was living in Bellair as he was working there for free for his room but then got dementia. I think he could not work anymore and the person put him in the shelter,” she said.
Roddan’s son, Clayton Lee, who resides in London, posted a status on Facebook yesterday and said, “This is my dad, he has dementia…he is missing! If anybody that lives in Durban has seen him please call the number below. Thank u Kelly and Andre for searching.”
