Durban Central detectives appeal for information on rape case
According to police, the 15-year-old victim was repeatedly raped at her place of residence in the Point area in 2020.
DETECTIVES from the Durban Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are appealing for information on the whereabouts of the man in the identikit.
Police believe the man can assist with information in connection to a rape committed in the Point area in Durban.
Spokesperson for KZN SAPS, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, said a 15-year-old victim was repeatedly raped at her place of residence in the Point area in 2020.
“The Durban Central Magistrate’s Court had issued a warrant of arrest for the suspect who is known as Divangama Tresor Bako who previously resided in at St Maritz flats in Point,” said Col Mbele.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information on the man in the identikit to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Tshabalala, on 084 8917 287 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
