MOTHWA Haven hosts fundraising events
Stop by on Friday to support the mini-market, as the home urgently needs support.
NATAL MOTHWA Haven, an NPO retirement facility for women over the age of 65 years, situated at 11 Deodar Avenue, Glenwood, is encouraging the public to support its mini-market on Friday, 12 March from 6am to 10am.
There will be clothing, shoes, toys and bric a brac on sale to raise funds for the home.
Due to the various levels of Covid-19 restrictions implemented on the nation and old age facilities, it has not been possible to undertake any fundraising over the last year. The Haven is dependent on these additional funds as a subsidy to keep the facility running and is now in financial dire straits.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions having been relaxed, they are now able to raise funds by whichever means possible once again.
The Haven will host this mini-market this week, and on the following Friday, 19 March, will run a food stall. This will continue every Friday thereafter, and endeavour to bring the community something different with each event.
