Man electrocuted to death in Manor Gardens

A MAN, believed to be in his late 20’s, was electrocuted to death near Manor Gardens on Friday morning while working on an electric pole. 

Garrith Jamieson, an advanced life support paramedic, said nearby residents spotted the man’s body hanging off the electric pole. 

“Paramedics from KZN VIP responded to numerous calls for assistance of a man, a worker being electrocuted. On arrival they found an electrical company working,” he added.

Jamieson said the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are being investigated by the South African Police Service.
