Two arrested for Cato Manor robbery

The men have been held in custody for robbery and have made their first court appearance for the crime.

POLICE officers in Cato Manor responded swiftly to a house robbery last week, which led to the arrest of two men.

According to Capt Nqobile Gwala from provincial SAPS, the incident occurred at 2.30am while the family was sleeping in the home in Cato Crest. It is alleged that two men forced open the door and accosted the family.

“They threatened them with knives. The suspects stole three cellphones, cash and a PlayStation before they fled the scene,” she said.
