QUICK action by a security officer led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of stolen goods in Umbilo on Friday night.
According to Blue Security, one of its officers arrived on scene to find three suspects jumping over the front driveway gate.

When the suspects spotted the officer they attempted to hide behind a tree.

The officer instructed them to step out but instead one of the men, armed with a knife, charged at the officer who fired two shots at the suspect, injuring him in the leg.

Two of the suspects were arrested.
