Durban Christmas church services

Celebrate the birth of Christ at local church Christmas services this year.

Lambert Road Baptist Church

The Christmas morning service is at 9am at 114 Lambert Road, Morningside.

 

St James, Morningside

There will be a Crib Service at 5.30pm on 24 December as well as a midnight service starting at 10.30pm.

On 25 December, there will be a service at 7am and a second service at 9am.

 

Musgrave Methodist Church

The Christmas day services are at 7.30am and 9.15am.

 

St Cyprian’s Anglican Church

There will be midnight mass on 24 December at 11pm, and a Christmas Day communion with carols at 8am.

 

St Thomas’ Anglican Church

There will be holy eucharist on 22 December at 7am and 9am and Nine Lessons and carols at 7pm. There will be a crib service at 5pm on 24 December, with carols at 10.30pm followed by Midnight Mass at 11pm. On Christmas morning there will be a service at 7am and holy eucharist at 9am.

 

Glenwood Presbyterian Church

There will be a carol service on Sunday, 22 December at 9am, and a 6pm communion service on 24 December. On Christmas day, there will be a family service at 9am, and communion on Tuesday, 31 December at 6pm.

 

Umbilo Methodist Church

A Christmas day service is starting at 8am.

 

Emmanuel Cathedral

An Advent Penitential Service will be on Saturday, 21 December from 10am. Midnight Mass is on 24 December at 11pm with Christmas Day Masses at 7.45am and 10am. There will also be a service on Thursday, 26 December at 8am.

 

Manning Road Methodist Church

On 24 December there will be Carols and Candlelight at 6pm, and on 25 December there will be a Family Christmas Service at 9am.

 

Glenwood Community Church

There will be a Christmas Day service at 9am (no evening service).

 

Umbilo Congregational Church

On Sunday, 22 December there will be Nine Lessons and a Carols Family Service at 9am. On Wednesday, 25 December there will be a Christmas Day Family Service at 9am.
