Free computer coaching at Denis Hurley Centre

Volunteer coaches can assist people with internet searching, refining a CV, completing an assignment or writing more clearly.

THE Denis Hurley Centre is encouraging people to ‘drop in’ to the centre’s computer room for free.

According to director Raymond Perrier, the centre is not offering a structured course or a certificate, rather it is a place where someone who already knows a bit about how to use a computer can get more practice – and also ask for help if they get stuck.

“Our volunteer coaches can assist people with internet searching, refining a CV, completing an assignment or writing more clearly,” he said.

The computer room is open from 1pm to 4pm every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There is no need to book. If you have work that you want to complete, take it on a flash. Internet and printing within reasonable limits are also possible.
