Families welcomed at Eston trails weekend

Pre-entries are still open until 28 July and late entries will be accepted online from 29 July to 1 August.

WITH entry specials, trails catering for mountain bikers and runners of all abilities and a wholesome atmosphere at the Eston Farmer’s Club, the 2019 Illovo Eston Trail Challenge on Sunday, 4 August is the ideal day out for any family looking for an exciting event.

The event in the sugarcane belt of KwaZulu-Natal has been a premier attraction for elite riders with the prestige and history that surrounds the race, however over the past few years organisers have also increased the focus on the family element.

With 15 per cent off four entries for a family, the event is encouraging people to bring their children along for the day with two MTB events to choose from for the young ones, the 18km STIHL Tala Family Ride and the 10km Omnia Kids Ride, in addition to the 9km trail run.
