Stolen bag returned to owner

Frederick himself had been a victim of a smash and grab recently and knew what it was like to lose belongings.

GOOD Samaritan, Andre Frederick, a resident of Glenmore, was out walking his dog recently when he found a bag that had presumably been stolen.

Mr Frederick, with the help of his mum, Gertrude, went through the contents of the bag and managed to trace it to the parent of a learner at Holy Family College. Knowing only too well what it felt like to lose your belongings having been a victim of a smash and grab recently, Mr Frederick returned the bag to its rightful owner who was grateful to have it back.

He discovered the owner of the bag had been a victim of remote jamming at a petrol station. The bag contained his ID and other valuable items.

Holy Family College, on behalf of the parent, thanked Mr Frederick for his kindness, honesty and concern.
