Dates set for MTB and trail run festival
The popular Sappi Scottburgh MTB and Trail Run Weekend will draw athletes and their families to the KZN South Coast.
THE 11th edition of the popular Sappi Scottburgh MTB and Trail Run Weekend will draw athletes and their families to the KZN South Coast on Saturday, 20 and Sunday, 21 July.
The Saturday programme will focus on trail running, with a big field expected to support the Funky Pants Trails Runs, offering distances of 22km, 12km and 5km from the race base on Scottburgh’s main beach.
On Sunday the well-established 45km Sappi Scottburgh MTB Race will form the second race of the South Coast Fever MTB Series and race seven of the Quattro ROAG Series.
The Wardkiss 28km Race and the Wardkiss 10km Family Fun Ride ensures that the weekend is accessible to riders of all ages and abilities.
The Sappi Scottburgh MTB Race will once again raise money for the Cycling For Mobility cause.
