Assistance sought by Brighton Beach FCS

The suspect is believed to be in his late 30s.

THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, is appealing to the public to assist with the whereabouts of a male in the identikit. He is believed to be in his late 30s and police believe he can be of assistance in the investigation of a rape case.

It is alleged that on 2 May at 8.25pm, a 52-year-old woman was raped and robbed next to a church in old Mission Road, Bluff. A case of rape and common robbery was opened for investigation.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is requested to contact Det Const Bouverie at the Brighton Beach FCS Unit on 031 451 8059 or 081 046 3162 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
