EDITOR – I refer to Resident Morningside’s letter in Berea Mail of Friday 8 February 2019 with which I wholeheartedly agree.
This is happening all over Durban! Holes are dug up, debris is left all around, never to be filled up again! What a sorry state of affairs.
I saw street lights on at 11.30am on Sunday on the street leading to Suncoast Boulevard. This is so ironical because loadshedding is on full swing at the moment and we asked to save electricity! What a joke!
Durban Municipality is in shambles, what with R200 million missing, or stolen and no one knows anything about!
When are they going to become an honest entity? At this rate we are going to be another Zimbabwe!
