WATCH: Rastas march in Durban against police brutality

There's a jovial mood sweeping through the CBD as a group of Rastafarians march through the city to City Hall to hand over a list of grievances to the SAPS provincial commissioner.

RASTAFARIANS across the South Africa gathered this morning to march against police brutality.

In Durban the march got off to a slow start from King Dinizulu to Durban City Hall where the are expected to  hand over a list of grievances to the provincial police commissioner.

Berea Mail reporter, Rudy Nkgadima, who is covering the march said the small group of more than 50 marchers included women and toddlers, who sang as they marched through the streets of the CBD on their way to City Hall.

Placards called for a stop to police harrassment, more respect and calls for freedom.

The group were loudly cheered on by passersby as they wound their way through the CBD.
