City event encourages social cohesion

Celebrating heritage through arts, sports, culture and dialogue.

DON’T miss the City’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Unit’s heritage month celebrations from 19 to 29 September.

The annual PRC Week is historically used to not only showcase arts, sports and cultural services, but also provides an opportunity to promote social cohesion and unity within communities.

Activities to look forward to during the week include the annual Ian Player-Magqubu Ntombela Lecture (26 September at 6pm at Durban ICC), Literacy Summit (27 September at 8am at Durban ICC), Indians vs Blacks Conversation (27 September at 6pm at Durban ICC), eThekwini Television Industry Summit (28 September at 6pm at Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, UKZN), a family day (29 September at Durban Beachfront from 10am) and many more programmes.
