Four arrested in Durban drug busts

Four men are to appear in court for being in possession of drugs.

DURBAN SAPS made four arrests regarding controlled substances in and around the city.

The eThekwini Cluster Team received a tip off about criminal activities taking place while on patrol in Cato Crest last week.

“They searched the house and arrested three suspects aged between 23 and 53 years for dealing dagga. The dagga weighed a total of 860 grams. All suspects will appear in court soon,” said Const Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS.

In a separate incident, an operation conducted by SAPS Special Drug Team and Chatsworth SAPS yielded positive results in the area of Westcliff Drive and Rank Avenue, Chatsworth.

They recovered 700 capsules of heroin with the street value of R14 000 and arrested a 22-year-old suspect.
