DHS hosts drumming event

This inter-school Drumline competition is designed to open up a new avenue of participation in schools' Drumline activities.

DURBAN High School will host the 2nd annual Drumline Competition on Wednesday, 15 August from 6pm, outside the Chris Seabrooke Music Centre at the school.

This inter-school Drumline competition aims to encourage new and emerging ensembles to participate in marching percussion through a fast-paced and in-your-face competition.

Battle units consists of just five or more members who will put together performance routines. Musicians Gear Zone and Pearl have come on board as the official sponsors. The competition will feature high school marching percussion sections from throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
