THE Point community in Sector 1 is invited to attend a special general meeting of the Point CPF to elect office bearers on Tuesday, 14 August at Kings Hall, Tafta, 80 Samora Machel (Aliwal) Street, Durban from 2pm.
The aim of the sub-forum is to establish and maintain a partnership between the community and the police, promote effective communication between these parties and to promote co-operation between the police and the community to fulfil the needs of the community regarding policing.

Members of the community police sub-forum elected render services on a voluntary basis, and must be a resident or have a business interest in Sector 1 in the Point area, which includes Samora Machel (Aliwal) Street, Margret Mncadi (Victoria Embarkment), Bay Terrace, Mahatma Gandhi (Point) Road and Monty Naicker (Pine) Street.
