Trevor Donjeany will perform at Sibaya’s Rockwood Theatre.

WHEN Johnny Clegg wants you in his band, you know that you are really, really good. Trevor Donjeany is one of these people and will wow audiences at the Rockwood Theatre at Sibaya in That 80s Show which runs until 17 June.

Donjeany, who is Clegg’s backing vocalist and bassist has become a familiar face strumming his Fender basses.There are few countries in the world which have not seen Donjeany on stage doing what he does best. He contributed to the last two albums of 23 released by Jonny Clegg, as well as his latest release, Human in the USA.

In addition, Doneany and the band are greatly involved in the 46664 Mandela concerts where Clegg was a featured artist for the shows in Johannesburg, Cape Town, London and Tromso.

In personal capacity, this passionate musician has worked as both a tertiary level music educator for several South African universities and as a live performer and sideman.

The theatre offers an array of deals, including buy-one-get-one-free on Thursday nights at R200, Saturday and Friday nights at R130 per person and Sundays with adults at R130 per person, kids U12 are free and pensioners receive a 50 per cent discount.
