Results from Stella Royal
Runners and walkers took on the annual Stella Royal race at Stella Athletics Club last week.

THE Stella Royal 25km, hosted by Stella Athletic Club, on Wednesday, 21 March, was a huge success.
Winning the men’s Open race was Lindokuhle Sithole in a time of 1:27:24, with Sipho Mbhanywa second with 1:27:30 and Thembelani Malunda in third with 1:27:32.
Cebo Mkhize was the winner of the men’s 35 to 39 division, in a time of 1:46:35, Sikhumbuzo Dlamini made a time of 1:29:07 to win the men’s 40 to 49 age group division, Deon Jannekar won the men’s 50 to 59 age group in a time of 1:43:32 and winning the men’s 60+ division was Derrick Mazibuko in a time of 2:06:10.

The Open ladies’ division was won by Nomthandozo Mlotshwa in a time of 1:49:34, with Lisa Collett second with 1:53:03 and Nokwhula Ntahangase third in a time of 1:57:13.The ladies’ 35 to 39 age group division was won by Sarah Wilson in a time of 2:04:35, Lisa Collett won the ladies’ 40 to 49 division with her time of 1:53:03, in the ladies’ 50 to 59 division, Roshini Natasen was first in a time of 2:15:39 and Jenny Scott won the ladies’ 60+ division with a time of 2:28:20.
Winning the men’s 10km run was Bonginkosi Zwane in a time of 31:51, with Muzwenkosi Mjaja second in a time of 32:34 and Vumani Mlaba third in 32:36.
Sarah Kruger won the ladies’ 10km run in a time of 44:07, Roxanne Vale was second with a time of 47:00 and Alison Uys finished third with 47:51.
The men’s 10km walk was won by Vukani Mdunge in a time of 52:12 and Jeanine Le Febour won the ladies’ 10km walk with a time of 1:08:51.
