Game goes the extra mile
Game staff will go the extra mile by taking on the Midmar Mile 2018 on Saturday.
IN a bid to raise funds for charity, 120 Community Chest and Game swimmers will swim the Midmar Mile to raise funds for the Community Chest.
The team will swim the Corporate race on Saturday, 10 February.
Since 2003 Game has donated R1 000 for every swimmer who completed the race. Last year the team raised a total of R120 000 for Community Chest through the Midmar Mile, and Game was also awarded for being one of the Community Chest’s top donors.

Executive director of the Community Chest, Gordon McDonald, said, “The Game and Community Chest Midmar Mile partnership is a fantastic fund-raising initiative, whereby the staff and family members of Game/Massdiscounters are, through their own physical effort, able to raise funds for our vulnerable community, it is a wonderful day full of family and fun and of course it’s all for a good cause.”
