Thanks for the response

Thanks to generous donations, the Kenneth Gardens School Project supported 59 children.

EDITOR – As the fundraiser for the Kenneth Garden School Project I would like to take this opportunity in thanking all donors who helped make this project the success it was this year.

Let’s reflect on the history of the project and how it has expanded in the few years it has been in existence. In 2016 we assisted five children with stationery and uniforms, that was then just a friend and myself doing what we could to help these children. In 2017 with the help of some donors we assisted approximately 40 children with stationery and six children with uniforms. All of them came from Kenneth Gardens.

With the support of our loyal donors, including Palm Stationers who provided a large donation of books, Sandi James and staff from Standard Bank in Stamford Hill Road who supplied stationery, and cash donations including generous donations from Leigh Group and Spring Light Gas and City Logistics who helped with the transport, we were able to assist 59 children with stationery and books this year.

In 2018 it was decided to register the project as a non-profit company and we are happy to announce that we have just received our PBO number as well as our 18A status.

We look forward to the project growing from strength to strength in the future.
