Joy as matrics are dismissed one last time

The management and staff at DHS wish all the matric learners well for the future.

THERE was much excitement and some mixed emotions, on Monday when Durban High School matriculants wrote their final paper and were dismissed for the final time.

Many of the learners are looking forward to studying further next year. Dashiel Naicker said t he will be studying Medical Science at UKZN next year, while Christopher Coleman will study for a Degree in Business through the Sharks Academy as well as continuing to play club rugby.

Calvin Newton will be studying Biological Sciences and Matthew Henley, Deputy Head Prefect, is off to UCT to study medicine.

All the boys agreed that they were relieved to have finally finished and were looking forward to receiving their National Senior Certificate in January.
