Orchestra performs with boys’ choir

BAROQUE 2000 will make music with the world renowned Drakensberg Boys choir on Sunday, 19 November at the church of the Monastery, Mariannhill at 3pm.

The choir will be conducted by Bernard Kruger and the works to be performed are Vivaldi’s Gloria in D major, (the solo parts will be sung by members of the choir), and choruses from Handel’s Messiah. To open the concert the orchestra will present the same composer’s Concerto Grosso op 3 no 4 in F.
