Help solve rape case

Assistance is being sought by Brighton Beach FCS to solve a rape case.

BRIGHTON Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is seeking assistance from the community regarding a rape case they are investigating.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane from provincial SAPS, it is alleged that a 24-year-old woman was taken by an unknown man driving a white Renault Clio to a cemetery in Stellawood where she was raped.

“A case of rape was opened at Umbilo police station and it was transferred to Brighton Beach FCS for investigation. The investigating officer is searching for the man in the identikit and believe that he can assist in solving this case,” he said.

The man is short in height and has a slender build. He is about 34 years old and has short dreadlocks.
