Sharks make a statement for charity
Players will don a special yellow armband demonstrating their support for The Sunflower Fund.
CURRIE Cup rugby has captured the attention of the nation for over 127 years and has been a display of strength, skill and determination in South Africa’s much loved game each time a squad marches onto the field.
While this Saturday is no different in terms of the skill and strength, the Cell C Sharks will make a different statement this weekend.

The men will don their character black and white gear, but this time with a special yellow armband demonstrating their support for The Sunflower Fund in honour of Sunflower Day which is commemorated on 15 September and Stem Cell Donation and Leukaemia Awareness Month.
The gesture of support for the Sunflower Fund aims to capture the rugby loving public with a simple message that hope begins with you.
Ultimately it is ordinary people that do the most extraordinary things that make a real difference.
