International Blues Festival

DON’T miss Durban’s 13th annual international Blues Festival which kicks off on Friday at The Plant, Station Drive Precinct showcasing a host of local and international blues musicians.
On Friday, 1 September at 7.30pm its the turn of the Smoke and Liquid Band, followed at 8.30pm by the Black Cat Bones and at 9.30pm, headliner act from the USA, Charlie Love.
On Saturday, there is a free concert from 2pm to 5pm where you can watch Durban’s finest fender ambassadors in action.
Saturday at 7pm is the turn of Cinnamon Blue, followed at 8pm by the Rusty Red Trio, Gerald Clarke at 9pm and then South Africa’s own Dan Patlansky at 10pm.
Food and a cash bar will be available throughout the festival. Tickets cost R150 each on both days and are available from Computicket or at the door.
