Free legal advice for the community

There will be a free legal advisory desk and maintenance mobile clinic on offer for parents and children living without maintenance support.

THE KZN Network on Violence Against Women in partnership with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development in KZN will host a workshop for the community on 26 August at Michaels Women’s Hostel in Sydenham (intersection of Wragge and Mary Road) from 10am.

There will be a free legal advisory desk and maintenance mobile clinic open to the public, parents and children living without maintenance support.

Various justice services and Chapter 9 institutions will also be available during the day such as the Master of the High Court, The South African Human Rights Commission, The Commission on Gender Equality, The Office of the Family Advocate and The National Prosecuting Authority.

Communities from Sydenham, Overport, Asherville, Mayville, Berea and surrounding areas are invited to participate.

Lunch and informational brochures will be provided.
