Disney comes to Durban at VIP day

Corporates are encouraged to help out at this year's IBV Children's VIP Day.

THE much-anticipated IBV Children’s VIP Day takes place on 12 August at the ICC Durban Exhibition Centre, and corporates are encouraged to get involved.

Now in its eighth year, this annual event transports 3000 underprivileged children and their caregivers to a veritable Disneyland in Durban for a day. The day promises loads of treats and giveaways, as well as entertainment, food and treats by the truckload.

Ashok Sewnarain, CEO of IBV International Vaults and the creator of the event, said: “We have once again partnered with CEOs, business executives, pop stars, sportsmen and women, who have volunteered to get involved to serve and entertain these children for a magical day.”

The event is unique in that no cash donations are accepted from sponsors. Instead, corporates are encouraged to get involved on the day, or to make donations in kind.

“We want your time and your energy and not your money, so come along and get your hands dirty. You’ll see life through a different lens after serving at this event, and your life will change you forever,” Sewnarain said.

To get involved, contact Shivani Gosai on 031 566 3984 or shivani@ibvglobal.com or visit www.ibvinternationalvaults.com for more information.
