House and Garden show a hit

People flocked to the opening day of the ECR House and Garden Show, which runs until 9 July.

DURBANITES and out-of-town visitors flocked to the opening day of The East Coast Radio House and Garden Show at the Durban Exhibition Centre on Friday.

The show, which runs until 9 July, has something for everyone, including the contemporary small space living display nestled in an up-cycled 12 metre shipping container, the new For the Love of Food pavilion where you can find scrumptious local delights, wine tasting stations, craft beer, foodie products and a re-imagined chef’s demo theatre.

KZN’s top interior designers and decorators are collaborating for the first time to create a mix of trend-focused room settings, alongside a relaxed café, and the much-loved Homegrown Design Fair is bigger and better, showcasing the very best products by talented local crafters and design studios.

Back by popular demand is the KZN Travel and Adventure Show, the Builders DIY Pavilion, Tanya Visser’s The Gardener feature, activities to keep the children entertained, and a whole lot of great show specials.

Tickets are R85, R60 for pensioners and studens and free for children under 12. Buy tickets at the door or via i-Tickets. For more information, visit: housegardenshow.co.za.
