Gold Tour brings Samthing Soweto Durban

The Gold Tour will lead Samthing Soweto to Durban, Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown between June and July.

AFTER his sold out shows at the Soweto Theatre and The Orbit, Soweto-born singer and songwriter Samthing Soweto brings his much anticipated tour to Durban. He will be joined on stage by Ntsikelelo Matshatshe on guitar, Bafana Mlangeni on keys, and Mduduzi Mathebula on bass.

Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba – also known as Samthing Soweto – started his career as one of the founding members of the South African acappella group The Soil. In 2014 Samthing Soweto appeared as solo act at the Joy of Jazz Festival and in the same year earned himself a spot at the Rocking the Daises Festival. Samthing Soweto’s music has featured on South African television shows and films such as Isidingo, Big Brother Mzansi, the title sequence of Rhythm City and the soundtrack of the movie Othello Burning.
