LOCAL doctors and health care workers are currently marching on Durban City hall.

The protestors gathered this morning at Botha’s Park and set off for Durban City Hall where they will hand over a memorandum demanding a health care system that serves the people.

Berea Mail reporter at the scene said among other grievances are corruption within the Department of Health, a call for better pay form nurses from Denosa, conducive working environments and necessary medical equipment.
