Entries open for big walk
Entries have opened for the Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk.
IT’S time to dust off your walking shoes and warm up for the annual Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk, which takes place on Sunday 21 May.
This year entrants have a choice of three routes – 5km, 10km and 20km – all of which start at uShaka Marine World and make their way through Durban’s scenic promenade en route to the finish at People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium.
East Coast Radio’s General Manager, Boni Mchunu, says the addition of a 5km run will add a new dimension in keeping KZN active. “The 5km run will be a new and welcome challenge for those that want to pick up the pace and we’re excited to see it become an integral part of the event in the years to come,” she said.
Entries are now open. Register online at www.ecr.co.za. Only the first 30 000 entries will be be accepted.
