Musgrave jewellery store robbed
A Musgrave jewellery store was robbed of merchandise worth about R150 000.
ANOTHER jewellery store has been robbed. According to police, Natal Wholesale Jewellers (NWS) at Musgrave Centre was robbed earlier today.
Captain PN Naidoo of the Berea Police station said: “The two suspects threatened the manager and the staff, before they took boxes of jewellery estimated worth R150 000. The suspects fled in a white golf with an unknown registration.”
This is a fourth jewelllery store robbery in a month. Last week a jewellery shop at Hilton Hotel was robbed by men armed with hammers and crowbars.
