Join service delivery WhatsApp groups

RESIDENTS are encouraged to utilise new WhatsApp service delivery community groups.

According to ward 31 councillor Chris Pappas, “The aim of the groups is to ensure that rate payers in the community receive the services that they pay for and to ensure that we all play an active role in building our communities.”

Rules of the groups include that no conversations are had, and that only service delivery related matters such as potholes, blocked drains, grass cutting, dumping, street lights and bylaw offences related to your area/community are reported.

“Please put as much detail as possible so that myself and the municipality can attend to the problem,” said Pappas.
He added there should be no advertising or chain or link messages sent on these groups.
