A MAN is fighting for his life at a Durban hospital after a shooting in Overport earlier today.
Rescue Care’s operations director, Garrith Jamieson said the man who is believed to be in his 30s, was critically injured after the incident on Garth Road (off Brickfield Road) just before 12pm today.
“Paramedics arrivedto find the man in a critical condition. Advanced life support paramedics worked to stabilise him. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body. Once stabilised, he was transported to hospital ,” Jamieson said.
Mayville SAPS is investigating the shooting. Meanwhile video footage of the shocking incident has gone viral on social media. The video shows how the man was in his parked car, when three armed men surrounded his vehicle and started shooting.
