Catch a load of laughs in mixed masala comedy

Comedy king and East Coast Radio jock, Darren Maule will be one of the featured comedians in the Mixed Masala Comedy show this weekend.

THE hot Mixed Masala comedy returns to Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre this weekend, 22 and 23 July with more multicultural humour.

The funniest feast of comedy has been cooked up and is ready to be served on comedy lovers, featuring Durban’s best white, black, Indian, Muslim and coloured comedians all on one stage.

Mixed Masala promises to be the most culturally funny show to ever hit Durban as comedians tell hilarious tales about living in Durban from their own unique perspectives. The show will feature comedy king and East Coast Radio jock, Darren Maule, who is a household name and has played to packed houses across the country. Famous for his sharp wit and impeccable timing Maule provides a unique and colourful look into life in South Africa.

He will be supported by Durban comedy favourite Neil Green who is known as the “thinking man’s comedian”; Masood Boomgaard who has been touring nationally with his one man show I’m Chooning You Ekse; veteran comedian Hamish Kyd as Professor Gopal who will be offering hilarious life lessons to the audience; Mo Vawda fresh off a string of very successful theatre performances; Zulu comedy star Justice Khubeka; Rory Petzer, who recently featured in the Kings and Queens of Comedy and a host of others.
