Steve Fataar for DHS concert

Durban High School is going to be Rocking Through the Decades with Steve Fataar.

FANS of Rock and Soul Music are invited to go Rocking Through the Decades with legend Steve Fataar and friends, at DHS on Saturday 4 June.

The school invited Fataar to perform at the event because of his close association with various DHS musicians over the years.

Other performers will include Andrew Webster, Rorke Kemp, Chico Muya and Rhys Johnstone.

Steve Fataar will perform some Flames hits and some other Soul, Motown and Rock classics. “I’m looking forward to this gig. The last time I performed with Andrew Webster may have been back in 1991. I think that he was still in school then. I have not performed with Rhys Johnstone for a number of years. He always brings energy to the stage and has an amazing voice,” said Fataar.

The evening will end off with a DJ – especially for the youngsters – while the older fans head for the beer tent on the field.

Rocking Through the Decades will take place in the DHS Hall, on the night of DHS Founders Day. The event will start early evening with bands starting at 5.45pm.

Tickets are available through https://www.quicket.co.za/events/ (Search for DHS: Rocking Through the Decades) at R80 for adults and R50 for students and learners. Tickets will be on sale at the door for R100.
