Retailer supports children in need

Game recently donated R120 000 to LIV Village.

GAME recently made a generous donation to a local charity, confirming its commitment to catering to the needs of the less fortunate and advancing the cause of South Africa’s social development agenda.

There are more than 5-million orphaned and destitute children in South Africa who are in need of love and care after being struck by the tragedy of losing their parents. Lungisisa Indlela Village (LIV) is a non-profit organisation that was created with the sole purpose of providing holistic residential care for orphaned and vulnerable children.

LIV is fortunate recipient of a generous donation of R120 000 from Game as their contribution to LIV’s “Child Sponsorship”. This donation covers the full living costs – food, medical, clothing and educational outings of 10 children for 12 months.

Not only does Game donate to LIV but it also donates 1 per cent of its after tax profit to philanthropic causes within the spheres of disability, stationery and feeding.
