IF you are interested in learning more about Durban’s 2022 Commonwealth Games bid check out the informative activations around the City this Easter long weekend.

Get to the beachfront, GrowthPoint Stadium and People’s Park as these hotspots come alive with festivities this weekend as promoters, including face painters and puppets promote the Bid and educate members of the community about what hosting the games will mean for the City.

Fun activities will include sandcastle building, face painting and lots of giveaways. While at the venue, patrons are encouraged to keep the conversation going by tagging @durban2022 and #readytoinspire in their social media posts.

The schedule for the activations is on Saturday, 4 April from 9am to 12noon at the Durban Beachfront, then moves to GrowthPoint Stadium from 1pm to 4pm. On Sunday, 5 April, from 11am to 5pm the activations will be at People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium.
