The popular Rachel Finlayson Pool at North Beach has been reopened to the public.

RACHEL Finlayson Pool at Durban’s North Beach has officially been reopened. The eThekwini Municipal said on social media that eThekwini mayor Mxolisi Kaunda officially reopened the popular pool this Friday for the public to enjoy.

The pool has been closed to the public since its rehabilitation began in August 2015. And in early December this year the City said a contractor had been appointed to fix the damaged pool.
