For those of us who love to have a fresh-looking manicure, frequent sanitising has become a nightmare.

Due to its high alcohol content, hand sanitiser can be particularly damaging for nails. Using alcohol-based beauty products or hand sanitizers can break down and soften nail polish.  All that alcohol can also contribute to nail breakage. 

If you’re noticing that your nails aren’t as strong as they once were, it’s probably time to up your game when it comes to pampering nail products.

Essence has come out with a new hand-sanitiser resistant top coat that protects your manicure against frequent sanitizer use. I gave the spanking new product a try and reviewed its effectiveness over a 12 day periods and these were the results.
