Mari Stella’s matrics celebrate results

Maris Stella School celebrated the Class of 2021 as matriculants collected their results.

AS schools across Morningside welcomed back the class of 2021 as they collected their matric results last week, matriculants from Maris Stella School celebrated a 100% Bachelor’s Degree pass.

Among the school’s high achievers were Isabella Rowley, Shristi Sooklal and Isla Wilson, who appeared on the IEB outstanding achievers list.

They placed in the top 5% of candidates in six or more subjects while also scoring above 80% in life orientation.

Rowley also placed in the top 1% of candidates nationally for several subjects, including accounting, Afrikaans, English and physical science.

Several Mari Stella matriculants passed with flying colours and racked up multiple distinctions.

Sonali Reathlall and Isla Wilson achieved eight distinctions each, while several learners achieved seven A symbols.

These included Hannah Bullen, Tayla Good, Isabella Hislop, Talia Persadh, Isabella Rowley, Kaitlynn Sitharam, Shristi Sooklal and Julia Tostee.
