Public urged to avoid smoke inhalation as fire continues to burn in Durban CBD

Residents in the area are urged to keep their windows and doors shut.

A FIRE, which broke out at a central Durban shopping mall on Friday, January 21, continues to burn, more than 20 hours later.

With smoke still emanating from the building at the intersection of Brook Street and Dr Pixley Kaseme Street, paramedics monitoring the scene have urged the public to take precautions when they are in the area.
