Get your jab at uShaka Marine World

uShaka Marine World's CEO, Ndabo Khoza said they partnered with the Department of Health to provide a convenient vaccination site for employees, tenants and the community in and around uShaka Marine World.

MORE than 100 people flocked to uShaka Village Walk’s temporary vaccination site to receive their vaccines.

uShaka Marine World’s CEO, Ndabo Khoza said they partnered with the Department of Health to provide a convenient vaccination site for employees, tenants, and the community in and around uShaka Marine World.

He added that they welcome the vaccine as it promises relaxed regulations that will enhance the tourism offering and experience.

“As a community, we are still in a battle to ensure a safer Durban for all. It is our intent that we provide solutions that will put communities in a better place to fully experience unlimited fun over the approaching the festive season,” he added.

Public relations coordinator for uShaka, Sibusisiwe Shabalala said the site was operational until Sunday, October 10, and encouraged Durbanites and visitors to get their jabs.

“It has been a success since we started. Most of the people who were visiting our site to get their second jabs were visitors. What was encouraging is that we had a good percentage of people from the 18 to 34 age group,” she said.
