Woman arrested with dagga and heroin in Durban CBD
The suspect is expected to appear at the Durban Magistrate's Court today.
POLICE arrested a woman (26) for the possession of dagga and heroin, in the Durban CBD, on Wednesday, October 6 at about 14:00.
According to SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Zanele Khomo, crime prevention members were patrolling the CBD when they received a tip off that a drug dealer was spotted at the intersection of Dorothy Nyembe Street (Gardiner Street) and Dr AB Xuma Street (Commercial Street).

SAPS made their way to the area and saw a woman selling soft drinks. They approached her and, upon searching her, they found capsules of heroin in her possession. Dagga was also found hidden in a cooler box.

“The 26-year-old suspect was arrested and detained at Durban Central,” he added.
The suspect is expected to appear at the Durban Magistrate’s Court today, October 7, for possession of dagga and heroin.
