One killed, 7 injured in high-impact Durban collision

Six commuters, from the minibus, sustained minor to moderate injuries.

A WOMAN (34) suffered fatal injuries this afternoon when a motor vehicle and taxi collided at the intersection of Stanger and Argyle Road in the Stamford Hill area. 

Spokesperson for Emer-G-Med Paramedics, Kyle Van Reenen said the woman was declared deceased when paramedics arrived at the scene.

“A man, believed to be 40 years old, suffered serious injuries while six commuters from the minibus sustained minor to moderate injuries. The injured were treated on scene before being taken to hospital,” said Van Reenan.

He added the cause of the collision will be investigated by police.
