Suspect in Amanzimtoti theft arrested in Berea
After further investigation SAPS discovered that the property was stolen and a case was opened.
BEREA Saps arrested a suspect who was in possession of suspected stolen property in the Berea area.
Spokesperson for the Berea SAPS, Capatin Poobalan Naidoo said the arrest was made on Friday, 7 May.
“Lieutenant colonel R. Blood and Sergent T. James assisted by ET Rapid Response arrested a suspect in the Berea patrol area for being in possession of property suspected to be stolen and seized the property,” said Naidoo.

According to Naidoo, the suspect was detained at Berea saps.
“After further investigation it was discovered that this property was stolen during a house breaking and theft from a school in Amanzimtoti and a case was opened there,” said Naidoo.
